I’m so torn on if I should solve it or not (or click on the spoiler text). I’ve read every book multiple times and I’m obsessed with the show, but Joe Tracz said he recommends not solving it until Season 3. My question is for anyone who does know it, without saying what it is, what kind of spoiler is it? Edit: To clarify I see the question, but is it something I might know already or something I really shouldn’t figure out? I just read it and went HOLY F U-- and wish I hadn't read it... It is...new to the show and the world, I'll say...

I think I’m gonna up spoiled before January eventually, so as long as it isn’t show-ruining I will try my best to solve it myself. It could feel rewarding to solve it myself but I’d still like to know from someone who does know if it will be good or bad to do so.

Edit: Saw the previous posts and now I’m kinda freaking out. Why do I always spoil things for myself?

I have the book arriving in the mail some time during the next two weeks, so I'm definitely not going to look at the spoiler. But I'm also interested in hearing from those who have solved it already whether they regret doing so before the episodes were released.

I just got mine. What I might do it just solve it myself because I am so involved with ASOUE that I will probably get it spoiled eventually before January without any chance of getting it done myself. Gothicarchiesfan, or anyone else who knows it, how truly bad will it end up if I know? Will it ruin the show for me?

I cracked it earlier today and I'm glad I did. Considering that it takes place "after the end of the end," I'm not sure that it'll even happen on the show. If you've read all of the books and you love them as much as I do, in my opinion you should definitely go ahead and crack it. It's really fun to crack!

… I'm not entirely sure what sort of reading I should make of it. Probably wait, but let's get a second opinion; the reading I'm getting is entirely outrageous and it is entirely possible that I'm missing some more obvious (and more "conservative") reading.

Because of how vague some of the wording is, I'm personally getting the impression that it might not be as straightforward as it appears.
And even if it is exactly what it appears, I certainly don't think it will ruin season 3, as the information it reveals doesn't actually answer much and leads to many more questions.

Reading further, most of these quotes from actors and crew members came from the filming of TPP, and Rhys Darby has some quotes. I’m wondering if he may come to Hotel D after all.

I'm already obsessed with pregnant Kit jumping off a cliff to protect the Sugar Bowl from the Sinister Duo.

I believe I may have solved the code in TIHOSO. TWO SETS OF FRIENDS ONCE OUT OF REACH WILL MEET AGAIN ON BRINY BEACH OMG GUYS!!!! I decoded the code myself..... AND THERE IS A WORD THAT CHANGES FROM THE ONE GOTHICARCHIESFAN DECODED!! And it gives another reading.... AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. THEY DID THIS.... SO WE DECODED IT TOGETHER... LIKE THE QUAGMIRES AND BAUDELAIRES CLICKING THEIR SPYGLASS PARTS :’) Edit: Ooops... No, it wasn’t that. Though it would’ve been amazing that way.

I just finished solving it myself and it was really fun! I found everything the same except the first word, what page is it on?

Same here. I loved it a lot and it was really clever of the writers. I can’t find the first word either, but it was my guess. The rest was great (except the one on Olivia’s page was cruel)
