Your ideas on what happened to the rest of the characters in A Series of Unfortunate Events following the Penultimate Peril and The End.
(Mine):
After Hotel Denouement burns down, miraculously (a word which means in an unlikely chance somethings does happen) all the hotel guests survived.
Some with third degree burns others with bruises from trying to make it to the exit blindfolded.
Frank and Ernest, following the death of their brother Dewey and hotel burning down called a truce. And decide to quit VFD for good.
Esme Squalor and Carmelita Spats who had tried to take the elevator down during the fire, was pulled out of the debris and rushed to a nearby hospital. After recovering from their injuries, Esme was sent to prison for arson. Esme spent her 25 year in prison reflecting on her past mistakes.
While Carmelita was sent to an orphanage after learning her parents Mr and Mrs Spats died in a fire Olaf and Esme were responsible for. At the orphanage Carmelita was put through the same kind of treatment she had given to the Baudelaires and Quagmires in Prufrock Prep. She was later adopted by Charles and Jerome and became a better person.
Justice Strauss resigned from her position as judge realising the corruption in the high court. She later met her future husband Richard and had a son called Walter.
Jerome Squalor visited Esme in prison to fill out divorce papers. He later remarried to Charles who had left Sir prior.
Sir suffered a stroke after years of smoke inhalation and Lucky Smells Lumbermill shut down due to illegal workspace activities.
Geraldine Julienne was arrested for publishing false articles and murdering her ex-chief editor Eleanora Poe. She was given a life sentence. In prison she committed suicide shortly after arriving. The Daily Punctilio was shut down and later sold.
Victoria Bass was caught by police after attempting to rob more banks. She was given a 20 year sentence. Victoria tried to break out but was shot and killed by a watchtower guard.
Most of the money she hid was never found until later.
Darwin Remora as an accomplice, was given the same sentence as her. He later died of chocking from eating a banana in prison cafeteria.
With no other school teachers, the Board of Education shut down Prufruck Prep and fired Nero Feint. Nero went on to become an unsuccessful violist, until he went mad believing himself to be Mozart. He was later incarcerated at an insane asylum.
Hal Clarke despite being blind, felt his way toward the exit safely. He later went on to become a regular librarian.
Hector Ulysses having left the Vile Village, overtime gained the courage to stand up to anybody.
Captain Widdershins reconnected with his stepson Fernald to Fiona's delight. The three plus Phil went to explore the bottom reaches of the ocean.
Hugo, Colette and Kevin went on to become a crime gang known as The "Freaks". Attracting a lot of attention from people who themselves think our freaks joined them. They were all later arrested and given each made displaces for prison tour guides to heckle at.
Mulctuary Money Management fired Arthur Poe following his recent failures for finding guardianship for the Baudelaire Orphans. He went to have lunch at the Anxious Clown, where he was mixed up for a Volunteer by a waiter after using one of their code phrases. The waiter sent him down to Harbinger Harbour to collect important information where he was killed in a "harpoon gun" accident.
Bernard and Sinclair "St Clair" Dante (the Sinister Duo) perished in a karma-tic fire.
The Village of Fowl Devotees burned down from a "fireworks accident" celebrating the town's foundation day.
After the Islanders left the Island, they were soon lost at sea due Ishmael's sense of direction. The Incredibly Deadly Viper or Inky managed to bring an apple to them. Ishmael stole it and refused to give it to anyone else unless they did what he said. They all fought and rocked the boat until Ishmael fell overboard and drowned to death. Miranda Caliban, her daughter Friday managed to get some, but their was not enough for all of them. Luckily were rescued by Finnish Female Pirates who had enough apples for everyone.
The Rest is History
