Humphrey "Humbert" Montgomery (Monty's Father)
Bio: Father of Monty and his sister Dolores "Dolly", Humphrey was a senior member of VFD before the schism. Humphrey was very standoffish towards Monty growing up as a child. The only time he really showed any concern for his son was when he was bitten by a garden snake (which luckily was non-venomous). When Humphrey's wife Vera died, he fell into a deep depression. Eventually Humphrey attempted to sexually seduce a 13 year old Dolly. Monty intervened and Humphrey threw them out of the house in anger. Humphrey later died in a house fire one night.
Details of how the fire started are styptic. One claim was that the fire was caused by Humphrey, when he threw a bottle of alcohol into the fireplace.
(Note: Humphrey isn't the Humphrey mentioned in The End).

I have a dozen OCs in Maria Mallahan's universe ... I need to return there sometime. But I think I will describe some of them. Maybe it will even help me.
Maria Mallahan - descendant of Moxy. She is a journalist (although she had to work as a waitress at a difficult time in her life.) She ended up marrying a member of the Italian nobility due to a serious problem involving secret organizations and inheritance. (Unfortunately she ended up becoming a widow after a short time of a happy marriage) His life mission is to complete the Mallahan Brochure, a compendium that explains the origin of VFD, a former secret organization that was apparently extinct. During her life she adopts Beatrice (unknown surname).
Dr Handler - Very rich man specializing in Kabbalah and in Essene language. He ended up becoming the editor of Maria Mallahan, after a very strange crisis. His true intentions are unknown. He supported the Tel Aviv group until he moved to the City.
Snicket - (If that's his name.) Supporter (perhaps) of Maria Mallahan during her stay in Italy. He's a primate trainer.
Yuiop - First editor of Maria Mallahan. He is Chinese and was always interested in making money.
Beatrice - She ended up becoming Maria Mallahan's adopted daughter after a mysterious past.

I only have one: Hélène Baudelaire, aunt of Bertrand, mother of a character whose name I won’t tell you because I don’t want to spoil my fanfic. She wasn’t a bad person, but she was very distant and standoffish, loving her books more than other people.

I have so many OCs, I can barely remember them all. Off the top of my head, there's Joshua, Olaf and Kit's son who was stillborn. Angelina and Emily, Sir's daughters with his ex-wife Ingrid. Evadne, who is Lemony, Jacques and Kit's grandmother. Hmm...Let's see...Rachel, the two white-faced women's deceased sister.
That's all I remember.

There are Benedict and Scholastica Stephenson, a pair of orphans whose path crosses with the Baudelaires, but actually they aren't quite OC's; they appear in TUA, though not by name. And of course Benedict may be mentioned somewhere else as well.
There's Mr Pym, who was - ah - Vice-President of Orphan Affairs before Mr Poe. Before Mr Poe.
But my main OC is Francesca Ambrose, Sunny's girlfriend amd subsequently wife, and also manager of her restaurant. She is descended from Professor Ambrose in The Bears' Famous....

Emmaline Erstwhile is one of the four children mentioned by Mr. Snicket in his twelfth account of the Baudelaire orphans, THE PENULTIMATE PERIL. On the one hundred and fifty-third page of THE PENULTIMATE PERIL, Mr. Snicket mentions that at three o'clock one foggy day, Ms. Erstwhile was playing at the beach with her three siblings, whose real and fake identities will not be typed here. What Mr. Snicket fails to mention is that Ms. Erstwhile can play the piano, bass, violin, and glass armonica equally well, that smoking is considered by leading experts to be bad for your health, that she has been searching for her siblings for quite some time, that two plus two does not equal five, that she is an avid music cryptographer, that there are twenty-six letters in the alphabet, that she has successfully made contact with several allies, that the earth revolves around the sun, and that she has consistently avoided capture by authorities, volunteers, villains, and umbrella stands. The late Mr. and Mrs. Jehousephat Erstwhile loved the railways. They also loved drives in the country. What they did not love was being crushed by a train named after them, an incident that was misattributed to the Baudelaire children by at least one newspaper and even managed to seep into what was supposed to be a Very Factual Documentary concerning the Baudelaires. Ms. Erstwhile can often be seen playing in a bar or theater near you, wearing a long white wig or, rarely, a short black one. You can write to Ms. Erstwhile, but as she has no permanent address there is very little chance of your letter actually reaching her. Enclosed is an image of Ms. Erstwhile, taken without her knowledge, permission, or assistance during an impromptu outdoor concert. If you see this woman, call for help, greet her and shake her hand, or run away.

I am honestly beginning to suspect that you are, in fact, a volunteer. It seems you may have forgotten who I am, because if you remembered you would not be saying such things. Remember that if you are what I think you are I will find you, and I will make you sorry that you ever heard of VFD.

Elvira Entwhistle: Carmelita’s responsible best friend at Prufrock Prep, who will appear in the fanfic I am about to write. Unlike Carmelita, she is a bit mischievous but not cruel, and has very loving parents and a younger brother. She lives with her parents in the countryside, completely oblivious to the actions of VFD. Carmelita often stays with her at the holidays, because she wants to get away from her parents who always ignore her to the point where they sometimes forget she is there. She is a relation of the Anwhistle family, the name having changed slightly in different branches of the family, as sometimes happens in large families. After a brief encounter with a firestarter, she goes seeking VFD, joins the firefighting side and she and Carmelita become bitter enemies.
P.S: If you know where the name comes from, you are awesome!

Buddy De Daumier-Smith: Esme's first husband. Died under mysterious circumstances. Please elaborate! I'm thinking Esme may have been responsible for it and gotten away with it. Nothing set in stone yet.

I love the idea Roxy222! Especially about how a close friend of Carmelita becomes enemies with her in the series. I also love how you made her related to the Anwhistles.
FYI, I got that character's name reference from character Elvira Entwhistle renamed Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. Do you plan to make any other references to Dahl or the Chocolate Factory in the fanfic?
