Per your request, here is the full comic from the 2004 Nickelodeon Magazine. It's not perfect, but is the best I could do with my skills and materials at this time. Here is the link to the Google Drive folder. The comic itself is split into two parts. I may add higher quality scans of those Daily Punctilio booklets here as well. Side note: I was debating whether to put this thread here or in Atrocious Adaptations. Although it is a product, it is an adaptation of an adaptation (the movie) after all. Moderators, feel free to move this if need be.

i'm in love w this comic... something about it just scratches my brain-itch in the right way. it's damn dark too! i'm not sure why it... ahem... strikes me so clearly now but the slap and immediate excuses from olaf and the troupe come off far darker in this comic than they do in the film. klaus with his bruise in the panel immediately afterwards... ;-; if you're Violently Film Determined (hi gothicarchiesfan !!), a few things i noticed: -stephanolaf threatens to cut the children's toes off with his knife -violet appears to spot a white building (?) with boats docked outside it after josephine's house is decked -violet invents FIREWORKS (!!!!!) to signal for help during the leech attack. most notably, the lavender lighthouse is firmly in frame when the firework goes off. this is little more than conjecture, but i'm wondering if violet's invention here would have served as foreshadowing for the "refraction of light" concept (i.e. the beam from the lighthouse would have proffered enough energy to detonate the firework, justifying the use of focused light in the movie's climax) -klaus and fernald have an entire fistfight in this comic? the donut!? and klaus discovers the ocular device that way!? i don't think all of these deviations from the film were shot (what little we have of violet's boat invention in the theatrical release of the film seems to comprise a bucket and a mirror, neither of which are mentioned in the comic) but the comic IS based on a screenplay by robert gordon. these differences come directly from a script for the film. in short... we have a little more lost film material!! thank you so much for this scan mr. sharpe i've been interested in this comic for a long time and it didn't disappoint at all!

This is great. I like the style as well.
It makes me yearn for a whole series comic adaptation now..
