…in form of a TV Show? Because I sure am.
I’m a big fan of the books and I HATED how the movies from 3 and onwards completely butchered the books. Also hated David Yates’ style of the films and how he completely took the color out of Harry Potter and made everything incredibly pretentious and emo after the fourth film.
The fact that JK Rowling is involved and the series is going to span ten years gives me A LOT of hope that they know what they’re doing and they will really take their time with with this and put a lot of passion into this project and they’ll make sure they do the books justice.

Yeah and it’s a dead zone. I posted it here to generate more discussion. Don’t be snarky with me because I can be snarky back. I don’t care if you’re a moderator.

Was the newbie really deleted for this??
I agree with them regarding David Yates; am ambivalent about the show.

Harry potter is kinda dated and old now, and I don't think anything will ever replace to comfort/familiarity of the movies. I wouldn't really self describe as a fan, but I'll probably give an episode a go and watch if I like it.
