i thought this was going to be about the sanskrit verb √vid meaning 'to know.'
i still have some Long Vid symptoms from when i got the vid about 6 months ago. the vid is wack. the wackest thing is that i got it just from a quick trip to the supermarket.

i got it from working in customer service n i could barely speak for a year! then i got surgery n it was all fixed we can discuss sanskrit verbs in this thread too im no stickler voicebox surgery or did they remove Polyps or something ?? anyway it's a good job it worked out. ironically, previous to my getting covid from the kwikemart trip, i worked in a supermarket for 2 years and was fine. the interesting thing about the sanskrit "vid" (where, e.g. Veda comes from) is that it is cognate with many verbs meaning 'to see', the obvious one being latin 'video.' it's cool because it reflects a belief that equates seeing and knowing. the greek cognate '√wid' makes it even more obvious, as the form 'oida' is used exclusively as a present tense verb 'to know', but it's actually an old perfect-tense form meaning 'i have seen.' it is also interesting to contrast 'vid' with the other verb for 'to know' - 'jñā'. in hindu philosophy, 'jñāna' (knowledge) seems to be only gained after 'vidya' (knowledge). however, 'avidya' and 'ajñāna' (not-knowing) seem to be synonyms.

I got Covid-19 a little over 2 years ago. It wasn't as bad as others had it. I did have a high fever and splitting headache. Probably the worst part was when I was in too much pain to move too much, so I often just layed on the floor and slept. I had the phone next to me and I'd check 667. I was arguing with Mr. Lucio at the time. Oh! My brothers wanted me to play Super Mario 3D World. I was passing out on the floor every level.

I had covid in July 2022. It was during a heat wave, I hate being ill in hot weather. I was vaccinated and it was just an average cold/fake flu virus with a sore throat, runny nose and a bit of a fever. I started feeling ill on a Thursday and didn't take the Friday off sick and worked from home, I can't remember why, but I remember thinking I should have just taken it off. I did have a weaker sense of smell and taste for a few days, which was annoying because it made me keep wanting food because even if I had eaten enough for my body my brain wasn't satisfied.
