JKR said on the Today Show that she plans on writing an encyclopedia with more back stories and what happens to the characters in the future. She also says that it was Mr. Weasley who got the reprieve from death. The article can be found here: www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19935372/

The article didn't mention what I've heard before, that she would donate the proceeds from an encyclopedia to charity. Afterall, she's got more money than God!

I heard rumors that she'd be writing just such an encyclopedia. So it's not over yet! Though knowing Rowling we could be waiting geological ages before this thing comes out.

Yeah, I read that on Wikipedia. She said she'd do it for charity, like the other two companion books were.

She's been pretty open about all the mysteries left since the release, so I'm not too fussed how long I have to wait, but I think its awesome. I'd also like another few companion books like A History of Magic or Hogwarts a History.

Yup there's a thread about it now. I'm betting she's feeling liberated now book 7's out so she's happy to actually be able to tell us the mysteries.
