Based on Poe's Coats Host Toast's picture, it looks like something that could make a fun clay project if you were interested in creating one yourself.

An ATWQ Netflix show is unlikely primarily because the financial incentives aren't there, I think, rather than anything to do with the series's actual ending. (ASOUE doesn't have much of a screen-friendly ending, either.) Nonetheless, your alternative ending idea is interesting. Do you think it might seem too mysterious for uninitiated viewers, though? They might not recognize Beatrice or understand her significance.

Love it! (And thanks for clarifying about the prices - I definitely would have asked about that.)

You can find Otto's poetry online if you Google hard enough. Neat! I also learned he goes to a pretty cool school. I had never heard of a public, tuition-free art high school before.

Also, the series made me realize that the "gentleman __" trope is really underused in modern television.

I'm always surprised by the number of people who get the difficult bit of 'Nietzsche' right and the easy bit wrong, and write 'Neitzsche'. Well, this was me until five seconds ago. My trick was to remember that there were five consonants, but now it's just to remember "i before e, especially after N."

I watched the show! I thought every episode was very well-executed, though like JL I felt that there was a missed opportunity in the finale. Why wouldn't Assane play the recording for the audience? I thought that was where the show was going since while the coerced confession wouldn't be valuable for the police, it could have destroyed Pellegrini's social image and thus taken some of his power. But instead, as far as the audience knows, a wanted criminal interrupted a charity event to make a few unsubstantiated accusations on stage, then disappear.

Great interview!
PFB - "'Poison for Breakfast' is really a lovely meditation on writing and the writing process"; "in some ways 'Poison for Breakfast' is kind of an answer to books about writing that irritate me, that pretend that there are rules that everyone knows, whereas in fact, no one knows anything." - whoever suggested the book will share themes with the intro of Horseradish is probably onto something.
Miscellaneous - Otto is 17 - wow. He's remained, like, six in my imagination. - We should recruit the interviewer's son to 667. - "God bless Harriet Tubman, and God bless the lizards of North America" is a great quote. - I liked Handler's reflection on San Francisco. It summarizes a lot of what I've thought about his writing.

Since this has kind of been the thread for tragedies this year, two of my close family members passed away recently . One in late March and one two weeks ago. I was the primary caretaker for the one who passed away most recently, so the last two months were somewhat stressful in terms of caring. Just wanted to share why I've been offline, so you know I haven't abandoned you all - planning to get back into old routines soon.

I'm sure some of you are familiar with this site, but I only discovered its revamped(?) version recently. It's been able to guess all of my characters so far, including lesser known ones from ASOUE. en.akinator.com/gamePost your characters and whether the guesser succeeds or fails.
