Dorothy Gale was from Kansas. My friend was in some sort of class at school where they all had to say a state's name for a program. One of her friends said "Kansas!" far too enthusiastically, and it became an inside joke. At least, I think that's how the story goes.
Yay Kansas.

Kansas...I feel as if I've either been to Kansas or have relatives there...I'm not sure though. I don't know who'd WANT to live in Kansas but at least they all probably have horses and farms and crap.

*mischevious grin* I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto. Sorry, couldn't resist. Kansas is cool. Does anyone know where the name "Kansas" came from?

I think one time I went to Kansas and we parked outside my uncle's house and my dad and granddad went in and talked and I had to stay outside in the car with my mom.

*mischevious grin* I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto. Steal my line, why don't you?! That's all I had to plan to contribute to this thread. I'm going to say it anyway. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.

[glow=orange,2,300]I haven't seen The Wizard of Oz.[/glow] I never use that smiley, but I felt it was necessary. Who hasn't seen The Wizard of Oz?! It is what put Kansas on the map. Well, actually, no. Anyway, you absolutely must see The Wizard of Oz. Now.
