Alice's Adventues In Wonderland.

Every year in our school, we have a production. The Year Threes (Grade Two's) Year Fours (Grade Three's) Year Fives (Grade Fours) and Year Sixes (Grade Fives) star in it.
Every year, the Year Sixes get the main parts and this year we're doing Alice In Wonderland, or it appears that we will. We've found a script so it looks really likely that we will. As Year Sixes, we started the idea of Alice In Wonderland, and our headteacher looked into it.
I'm going to audition for Mad Hatter if possible.

i watched this tv special about a year ago, saying that Jack the Ripper was some famous artist's assistant (i don't remember the artist)

`Oh, I know!' exclaimed Alice, who had not attended to this last remark, `it's a vegetable. It doesn't look like one, but it is.'

`I quite agree with you,' said the Duchess; `and the moral of that is--"Be what you would seem to be"--or if you'd like it put more simply--"Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise."'

we're having a proper script. I was kinda disappointed when I saw the cast list though, because I didn't recognize many of the people. I'm gonna read that book..

you may be confusing that with novelist Patricia Cornwell's belief that artist Walter Richard Sickert was Jack the Ripper (and painted scenes of his murdrers)

i don't know about that...but he did have a bit too much to do with young girls...
and he used to draw/paint/photograph(i forget which) them nude

You can't take Dodgson and feed him to the wolves of today. He was a victorian, look at the victorian era they all worhsipped children. They all had an "unhealthy" obsession with children.

Not to mention he grew up in a huge family, if you look at the early magazines/poetry he produced he had that charm as a child. Who knows if it is psychological, a matter of personal taste or who knows what.

I don't think of Dodgson as a pervert, maybe a bit "different" but not a pervert.

I don't think he ever courted any of the girls. I don't think he even saw them as equals but he felt like he was their fairy godfather, you know? Opening new worlds to them.

i like his books anyway...however he is like it won't change that...
