In real life, I can't relate to anyone. I hate everyone and everyone hates me. I'm different. I read books. I'm quite cynical. The kids where I live don't know what "cynical" means. I'm the only girl in my school who's not a preppy cheerleader. But on the web, there are people who share common interests, and the people on the web seem nicer than in r/l.

I think completely the opposite.
I think loads of people here are snotty pricks (not you J, or Swans), and people in real life are nice.

You probably live in a diff. area then I do, Ty. All the boys in my school are violet, semi-evolved brainless idiots who bite each others' ears off in the hallway and pick dead bugs off of each other's hair and eat them, and the girls are vain, self-obsessed giddy little sissy rodents.
OK, maybe I'm not that different than the girls.
I'm tomboyish--no, I'm not. I'm not even that. I'm not tomboyish but I'm not really that feminine, either.

I just think that most of the offline folks around where I live are a bit slow (you may have noticed already that's it's rubbed off on me ;-P).

*shrug* I don't really know anyone who shares my musical tastes other than online (though I have been working on it..heh.), and I don't know anyone at my new school who would ever even think about reading a book for fun.

Exactly. I'm one of the only kids at my school who hates raps, and I'm the only kid who reads books for fun. Well, the girls do sometimes, but it's mainly sappy romance stories. |

Exactly! I can't even hang out with people who are brainless people who talk about nothing, or whether so and so looked at her or not. My friends aren't like that. They have brains and most of them read books for fun. None of them have heard of the Magnetic Fields though. But you have to take the good with the bad.
