Ohh... that sounds so awesome!
If I ever make enough money when I'm older, I'd love to furnish a house like that... with lots of statues and portraits and secret passages and books and stuff ;D
I think my friend said that Ann Rice once spent a bunch of time in a coffin, for research for her book... now THAT'S creepy!

I dont think she stayed in a coffin for THAT long... maybe just a few minutes, just to work out details of being in a coffin or something like that...

Dracula is a fictional character who is a vampire, a vampire is just a vampire. Actually Dracula was a real person, the vampire aspect of him was the falsehood. Vlad Tepes of Wallachia, his father known as Dracul which means " Dragon" or " devil", he was Dracula meaning simply "Son of Dracul" Stoker used him as the basis of his novel...although...Vlad Tepes did sop the blood of his enemies with bread and when they opened up his grave... he was not there.... I like resurrecting threads. Here is another. BTW, Nosferatu (Count Orlock) was the Bram Stoker Dracula story with the names changed so Widow Stoker wouldn't sue. Here are some Vamp stuff for your consideration Anno Dracula series by Kim Newman Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice and if you want more "scholarly" texts: Vampires of Europe and The Vampire: His Kith and Kin both by the Rev. Montague Summers if you like to read about Modern vampires: Vampires Among Us by Rosemary Ellen Guilley happy reading.

I had to watch it...it was the first CSI I had seen.
the "Court" actually sounds like what we used to have in the Vampire: The Masquerade LARP (Live action role-play) I used to participate in.
But take it from Uncle Los, don't drink people's blood.

I remember when I was little, my friend and I pretended we were vampires...we had our own little book...
I'm pretty sure I've read Bram Stoker's Dracula book.
