Does anyone else here have a gerbil? If you don't, do you still love them anyway? I have a gerbil. Her name is Bowser. But I call her Bowsie. Gerbies are nice and friendly, and I just love them!  |

I had gerbils for several years, and raised babies too (on purpose, not accidentally). My momma and daddy gerbils were Toast and St. Thomas. They had many, many children that I gave away. I also kept two boys, Twinkie and Swoboda. Sadly, my four gerbils have gone to gerbil heaven. I loved them very much. I like gerbils better than hamsters, don't you? These are not my gerbils, but Toast and Tommy looked just like the big ones in this picture:  |

I don't really like Gerbils. That is, I don't think I could own them, they're a bit to small for my liking, and I'd be afraid of stepping on them accidently if they got loose.
They are cute, though, and I enjoy watching them at the pet store.

I love gerbils! They're so sweet, cute and cuddly. There are two gerbils at my house, and I love and spoil them.  |

I am--I really am-- allergic to gerbils. But I don't really care, because I don't like them that much anyway.
