Hello. I've been home from school for several days due to the "common cold," although I would normally be attending a private school with a twist of Catholicism.

Hmm, this is difficult. I go to public/charter/college/university. It'd probably just be simpler to vote other.

Public schools rock. We're so terribly poor, it's fun.

And yet...the sports programs never are. Heh, they actually cut a few sports at our school, and we have old, broken equipment for gym. I've always wished that my school would start a lacrosse team (even though some guy called me vicious when we played it in gym), but I know we're too poor for that, so I don't even bring it up. I find it rather amusing that we don't have proper funding for athletics, since I have no coordination in sports at all.

You have no coordination in sport at all but you want a lax team? Why don't you just join a club team?
Public schools always seem so rich. My school's not poor but it relies on donations and fund raising because the government doesn't give anything, and the tuition goes to other stuff, I guess.

I go to a private school. The public school for my city is 3 million dollars in debt

At my public school last year, we all said that it was a poor school. I don't know it was though. The other high school in town seems to be in debt; they sell their student cards for twice the amount than at my school.

I don't think our school is poor, actually. It's just that the band program never gets any of the money.

Thye just built a new high school that is huge, it's like an airport. I think the public schools in my area are actually pretty rich and my mom said that if you get in honors classes they're as good as some private schools.

I didn't vote because the idea of a public school in Britain (Well.. England definatly) is different to what Americans call a public school.
A public school to us, is a private school to you. A state school to us, is a public school to you.
I go to a state school.
