i'm not denying it. you created this forum. the origianl members certainly helped build it and told their friends and whatnot, but members like me? i had to join. dupin had to join. kobolos had to join in order for the numbers to grow. we had a part as well.
but i'm gonna drop it cause i'm not sure what i'm even arguing about, so there's no point. *sigh* i'm not gonna get that position no matter what i do so whatever.

Well I'm not so concerned about the numbers. I just use numbers to catch people's attention. I'm more happy with the activity we have. Lots of good activity.
Anyways, it's like I said. You're a wonderful person and I admire you and what you do. But you had that period of abscence.

PICK FIFE, TRAGEDY. Pleeeease. Fife has been here longer, she's a LOTR freak, she posts in the creative writing section all the time. Plus how can you say no to that face? She's such a cutie! I think Fife should get the job because she's been here longer. Plus remember when you were searching for a moderator like back in May, Tragedy (it was the position I eventually filled). I remember you told Fife you thought she would be perfect for the job except she wasn't always online. Well now, she's online more often-- PICK HER! You said so yourself Fife would make a perfect moderator. Why are you attacking Tragedy? He didn't do anything wrong, and he's right Fife was gone for a while.. and she even announced she really didn't want to come to the forum anymore, right? Or am I getting her mixed up with Lemonlady? But I think I remember Fife saying she lost interest in the forum-- she comes every now and then, and I think she would do a great job but Tragedy likes solid attendance. Give the guy a break. So she went from the "Perfect choice" to this... And it's very nice to see Jessica stand up for her choice of mod. 'nuff said.

trag i think the next you go looking for a moderator, just ask the people you want, so we can avoid something like this and as you said "half the people on this board would be honored to be a moderator" i also just relized that other people must have applied for this. never really thought about it. me and kobo were the only ones going at it so i thought we were the only candidates. oops. my bad. so really i was just dismissed with the other candidates........ dunno why i thought i was so special.... rather egoistical of me really...  |

I support Fife, I still do.. however Tragedy decided not to go with that choice. Tragedy had a GOOD reason to not pick her, and I wouldn't necessarily make the same choice however this is his forum, it is his decision. You negated his sole reason not to pick her with this: "I remember you told Fife you thought she would be perfect for the job except she wasn't always online. Well now, she's online more often-- PICK HER" You lack the courage of your conviction and it is disturbing to me. So if I attacked Tragedy well I did it with a good intention. I was attempting to right a wrong. Something you don't seem to care about, as long as you can spin it to make him look like a swell guy....which he is I'm sure....but quit spinning it Jessica. when Tragedy says: "I'm looking for someone to fill a temp position send applications" then says only I will pick the winner, or maybe put it up to a vote of the mods because I won't put it up to a public vote because there was CHEATING last time. then say I don't know who to pick, the people I want didn't apply. then say well I don't know who to pick and I don't trust my mods (joking or no) then say here are two of the many people who applied, pick one for what is possibly a FULL or TEMP position (no one seems to have a solid answer).. you will excuse some people to be a little confused and yeah...pissy. make up your mind and stick to your guns. I'm sure Tragedy is a fine lad, he just screwed the pooch on that one. Perhaps it's the inexperience of youth or a miscalculation on his part....I don't really know. But it was unfair to Fife and here we are. |
