OOHNESS! I can talk all about my odd habits!
Ahem:
-When standing in line/against a wall/insert something here, I often twist my hands behind my back and play with the ends of my hair. -When attempting (quite badly) to draw, I have to have something covering a majority of what I'm working on. I have no idea why. I just do. -When sitting down, I bounce my legs up and down. This often leads people to believe that not only am I stupid/ Brilliant (people always think I'm either some super genius or an idiot. I have NO idea why. I'm just normal, for crying out loud...), but I'm on some sort of drug. -Saying/singing words/phrases/songs obsessivly until I tire of them and then moving on.
Ok, I have more, better idiocyncracies, but they've all flown my mind at the moment...

"..."
What?
Was my little speil that confusing?
Sorry...I'm often told that I make no sense whatsoever...that being one of the reasons that people are so convinced I'm smart/stupid. They aren't quite sure if I'm babbling like an idiot, or going on about something over their heads. It's just the insane ramblings of my silly little head....la la la...nothing really...

Oh, fun. Lemme see... - Zoning out (and looking like... duhhhhh. My friends say my pupils get bigger when this happens)
- Running my hands through my hair
- Laughing for no reason (often I'll just be sitting down and I'll chuckle a bit, and not realise I did. It's really odd)
- Washing my hands all the time (I have obsessive compulsive disorder, so it's more than just an idiosyncrasy, I think)
- Sitting with my legs crossed (even on high stools and in the cinema. I just can't help it.)
- Pulling up my jeans (apparently they're supposed to be below my belly button, but it just doesn't feel comfortable)
- Biting my lips

Oh...*feels stupid*
Klaus, I have to steal yours. I do those things when I'm nervous, bored...whatever you want.
And obviously, I must steal Laz's, as...well, I do that a lot...
And Allison, I zone out all the time to....*zones off...* *snaps back to reality*
Ahem...I also tend to rub the CD I'm about to put in my stereo on my shirt obsessivly...I don't quite know why...I mean, I do it ever single time no matter what...hum...
Oh, yes, and I like to take off my glasses, wipe them with my shirt, and put them back on, whether or not they are dirty.

LUCKY! Getting to sneak out the back door...
I do that too. And I also babble. For instance, last week, I had to present some data about magnetic fields and pangea with my group of (slacking) science partners, and I had something else to say at the end and I started babbling about God knows what...I think it was something about how similar magnetic fields were found in England and the US, thus helping prove the stupid Plate Techonic theory, blah blah blah...and everyone just looked on at me like "What could you POSSIBLY be saying?" and I just couldn't stop...
Another quirky habit of mine- folding up papers into fourths. I have no idea why I do this all the time, but I do.

Washing my hands all the time (I have obsessive compulsive disorder, so it's more than just an idiosyncrasy, I think) I JUST finished reading a book where the characters obsessively complusively washed their hands and were thought to be "godspoken". So... that sorta freaked me out. Idosyncrasies, eh? -saying words like "gimp" and mocking ganster lingo -drawing swirls -like swans, tying my hair back whenever I need to do something -like BSam, using lots of elipses -I used to try to hook the ends of my pens in my braces, but as I no longer have them (as of today), I can't anymore -Biting my nails -some other stuff

Swans, when I get really nervous, during presentations and stuff, or just explaining stuff to people, in general, I develop this weird lisp thing. Well, not as lisp, but... some bizarre thing I do which makes my S's sound weird. I dunno.

Weird...I usually just ramble, stutter and occasionally make up words.... I think I said "blangeria" once...odd....I don't know where it came from either, it just popped out...

I have a friend who accidentally called herself an "idependant yam" during a presentation.

Hee hee...that must have been really embarrassing...
I also tend to give out a lot of unnecessary info while I'm talking to large groups...again, I don't know why, but that is just the beauty of the thing, I guess....
