Ugh...sucky...
I remember back in seventh grade, my (evil!) civics teacher made us all get up and share some stupid thing or another...anyway, something was wrong with my voice, and I got up there and I could barely speak and when I could I was all croaky and I had to read this whole long thing.
Ugh...that was horrible...
And THEN there was the time when we all had to preform in "Annie" and I had the all-important part of maid # 3. I had to say "Soap, no, bubbles I think" and I had lost my voice and nobody even noticed until the end of that day during rehersals when I couldn't say anthing. And I tried the universial "I can't speak" motion (ie-mouthing "I can't speak" and pointing to my throat), and the dolts were so stupid and...ugh...they had no idea what I was going on about.
THEN, some wisecracking popular guy said, "How'd you lose your voice? You never talk anyway."
OH...the horrible memories...

My worst idiosyncrasy's is when I'm bored, I take out a sheet of paper and draw a big triangle. Then I split that triangle in half, making two triangles, then spliting those triangles, ext., until the whole paper is covered with pencil marks.

one of my biggest is when i'm bored at school, i stop paying attention and start doodling across my paper. (you should see my notes from music class in 8th grade ) then i either get yelled at or called on and it's not good.

Hee hee....
Another little thing I do as of...now, is include Crazy Eraser Bob* in everyone of my IM convos.
* Crazy Eraser Bob is a character of my own creation, but shall not be treated as such. In fact, you will now bow down to him and let his freakiness ooze over you. Now.

Yes, Poor Bob, for it shall never work out...as we both know, the Blender is not the most reliable appliance.
In fact, as you may remember, she is quoted as saying "Bob, I shall never leave you! Unless, of course, someone better comes along [like the Salad Shredder]. But until then, my love for you is also neverending!"
I see a heartbreak in his future...poor Bob...

Hmm... idosyncracies... When I'm drawing or writing or sometimes reading, I realize that I sort of make the facial expressions being described in the picture or writing. If I'm drawing, reading, or writing about someone being angry, my face looks sort of angry, and if the subject is madly in love, my eyes get really big and puppy-dog like

When I'm drawing or writing or sometimes reading, I realize that I sort of make the facial expressions being described in the picture or writing. Oh! Me too. Except I don't notice it myself. People just ask me why I'm so angry/lovesick/sad/confused/other when I'm reading/writing/watching TV.

You too? Good, I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
It must be something to do with our artistic minds ;D

I do that too, though I'm afraid it has nothing to do with artisticness for me...it's just one of the things I do.

Hee hee...
More of my idiocyncracies:
-When walking down the hall, or really anywhere, I tend to wring my hands. I know, odd...but I just start playing with my hands...huh.
-When singing along with the Beatles, I always substitute "Squirrel" for "girl" (it just works better for me. I feel sort of silly singing about girls...I like squirrels better.) and "Pig" for "babe". I think the reasons for that one are pretty obvious...
-I'm always either pushing my hair around or pushing my glasses further up. I seem to do this because I'm bored...and my hands need to always be in motion, I guess
-When eating pop tarts, I always eat around the edges first.
-I always line things up from biggest to smallest when ever possible.
-I tend to put a lot of unneccesary spaces/commas in my writing.

I have some more, too. - I can't snap my fingers, but when I'm nervous, I usually make the little snapping fingers motion thing with my hand infront of my navel (*shrugs* I don't know)
- Also when I'm nervous, I go sort-of pigeon toed
- When I'm bored I pull on my eyelashes (seriously, I don't know)
- And sometimes I bite my nails, but only when I'm thinking (not often)
I do that Pop Tart thing with my Pop Tarts, too, Kate. And with my toast. Pah, I just remembered a couple more: - When eating my Skittle/Smarties/whatever, I arrange them in colour-coded lines (in this order: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, brown (if applicable) and eat the lines in an order that changes every time
- When eating bread, I pull off the crust and crumple the inside part up before eating

Let's see...
I always bite my nails. I twirl my hair, or braid it, people always comment on it. I wrinkle my nose a lot. People hate it. I say like too much, which I don't think counts but oh well. When I see something stupid, or pretty, I comment on it out loud, and I always get "what?" from people I'm with. Oh, and I throw my book at a wall when something that gets me angry happens.
