Just wondering if anyone else here was into emo music....by emo i mean emotional rock. If you are, could you please list you'r favorite bands...or even if you're not into emo, i would be interested in everyone's response.

That's awesome. Emo glasses rock!
Anyway... my musical tastes have been very wonky lately (3 years ago I stopped listening to pop music in favour of whatever I could find that interested me) so I listen to whatever I come across... As a result I'm checking out the bands you mentionned (listening to Something Corporate right now... they sound good). But there are a lot of bands, there. Any one or two you can especially recommend?

something corporate rocks....bright eyes is really emo, you might not like it...but watashi wa and switchfoot are awesome. switchfoot's my favorite. oh, ever heard maroon 5? theyre not really emo, but theyre good!i dont really dress like that pic..i have awesome emo glasses..i really need them. ska is awesome too...like saves the day and less than jake and five iron frenzy. if you like soco, you'll like watashi wa and switchfoot.

my sister and my 2nd cousin once removed have emo glasses. My sister got them because she "lost" her glasses (she stepped on them then put them in the garbage) and my 2nd cousin once removed has them because we went to 6 flags over the summer together and she went on Nitro and she stuck her glasses in her pocket and they fell out, never to be seen again and she had to walk around blind for 2 days until her mom faxed us her prescription and we went to lenscrafters to get her temporary cheap glasses bu she liked them so she kept them but when she got home she replaced the lenses cuz her eyes were even worse (her eyes are so bad that she can't use drugstore glasses!) the drugstore-type-numbers that she has are something like 7-6. She's practically blind.

i am soooo emo. i got called an emo magee in my ujournal. because, you know, i totally behave like i'm emo...seriously, though, you like good bands.  and the guy in the picture bsam posted is really cute. and i did get called an emo magee. is that not terrifying? o.O |
