I hate it when parents do that. Except my mom has read ASOUE. And it may seem horrible, but I am my moms favorite child. But my brother is my dads, I think. And don't you hate when your parents talk about you in front of you? My parents have read ASOUE , I'm my mothers fav. child (She did say that) but my dads my sister, my dad is annoying!!!!! |

My parents never compare me to my brother. (he was valedictorian of his class) They just say "all we want is for you to do your best."

this is my mom (in my pov) my dad doesnt have a fav. child... i dont think: Tory, you're such a stupid girl!! You have to get your grade up or u'll never get into college!!
Margaret, you have sooooooooooooo much going for u. time w/ u is so enjoyable. ur so smart.
Charlotte, i dont remember anything about ur babyhood. u need to start something b/c ull never get into college. u need to start htinking about ur future. ur not a very good person!!

I'm glad DarkPhoenix is back, we missed him  Though he is still a guy, and therefore by nature insensitive  Hehe... It stinks how parents choose favorites and everything  I'm lucky to have parents that treat both me and my sister pretty equally. I do, however, highly dislike it when my mom lectures me on my social life. I go to rehearsal all afternoon and have constant interaction with at least 20 other people backstage, and she tells me that I NEVER talk to people... mer... Same with my parents. They claim I am anti-social because I enjoy being alone/by myself. And I used to spend weekends at home reading and doing other "nothing, uninteractive" activities. Now I have to go out and do something everyweekend so I can stay in the good books (I spend too much time on the computer to their eyes, and I want to keep spending too much time here, so I go out) And I fake listen all the time. |

my mo thinks that i have ono friends and shes like and charlotte, i dont even know who ur friends are cuz i dont talk to her (she only says this crap when shes had a little 2 much 2 drink) and then shell talk about how great marg is and how she loves her friends from college and thyere "hers" but ewither way she thinks im the most unpopular person on earth but in truth i have lots of friends.

Nooooooooooo you are not. Sometimes parents do retarded things, like play favorites. I'm sure they wouldn't like it if suddenly you started on how much you liked your dad over your mom, for example. Don't, well, don't let it get to you. I know that's a pretty empty statement to make but seriously, DON'T let it psyche you out.
When I was little I used to have serious inferiority issues cause I was a girl. My brother was always allowed to do things I wasn't...like have knives and take karate and fun stuff. I wanted to be a boy so bad I used to always cry at night. Sob sob, bo-hoo. I was always better in school and better behaved and better at blahblah everything but it wasn't good enough cause I was a girl. So I wanted to prove that I was better than my brother blah blah blah. Anyway, I've always known my mom liked my brother more than me, but I also knew part of it was because he looked so much like my dad. So what's a girl to do? In all honesty, if I felt my mother didn't hold me in second place, I prolly wouldn't have done half the thing's I've done...and I've done some pretty cool things. So it all worked out in the end.

At least your mother thinks you're smart swans. Once I asked to my mother "Do you actually care when my youngest brother talks to you about Yugioh?" and she said "No, I only nod and seem excited like when you talk me about your orphans books." I was like "WHAAAAAAAAT! You've been faking being interested in what I'm saying". That is so mean.That really is. The least she could do is be happy you're interested in something, instead of doing drugs or something. And, I really like Yugioh and ASOUE. You should tell your mom something if you're sure that you won't get in too much trouble. |

i go outsid in the summer but i quite playing in the snow in the winter because my sisters never want to romp in the snow w/ me and its not as fun PLUS i now hae to shovel the snow w/ my parents!! we only go outside in pe when the weather is nice is spring/summer. i occasionally walk my dogs. and i swim in the summer
