People always say that famous people such as the Queen of England of even Brad Pitt are special. But they never say it about people just like us. Were Not the richest people in the world. We dont star in block buster movies but does that deny us of being special?
Everyone has potential to do something brilliant with their life. Everyone has a chance and everyonce achieves something wether its becoming a gorgeous famous movie star or making a meal when you can barely walk. Surviving anouther day without your loved ones or keeping cool during a horriffic event.
I just hate it when people such as the queen are called special when a bunch of school kids arent. Loads of kids that i kno have had to put up with alot of salsa in their lifes but have still managed to make friends and do well at school. So personally, i think that a single Mum that can look after her children and give them the love and care they need, yet sill work all day, is just as special, maybe more , than someone who was luckly born into the right family.
Luv Phoebe xxxxx Happy valentines!!!

I don't think anyone calls the people you mentioned special Banana. I think they're called famous. If they are special then that's referring to their profession or a quality they have that makes them special and different from the rest.
i don't see how anyone can't be special.

"The rich are different from us." "Yes, they have more money."
Being special and being famous are two different things. Generally, people become the latter by being the former in the right place at the right time. If you want to be famous instead of just special, then find out what you're really good at, do your studies, get into college, become a major in it, then go out into the real world and do whatever it is better than everyone else. That should work.
Also, if the media had to stop and pause every time they ran a story on a famous person just to say "but not as good as YOU!", it would make it really awkward and nobody does it. Plus, plenty of people are famous and not special (i.e. Paris Hilton), and special but not famous (i.e. Freddie Hatae. See, you've never heard of him).

They're not special, just well known. I know the get "special treatment" which I don't think is fair (Not the queen, maovie stars) becasue just because people know you name, dosen't mean you should get better service.

Actually, I disagree. They are considered special, because of their achievements. And hats off to you, Bananas! I guess that you believe, like me, in this "all people are equal" thing. I feel like a hippie.

I hate how society considers actors, actresses and athletes--especially athletes--so special. Your average joe does a lot more for society than anyone on the big screen...
