Now I feel like there's an unspoken rift between the old loyal members and all the new recruits, in terms of welcomeness.

As a middle-timer, I remember thinking something similar when I joined - not in terms of welcome-ness, but of how well the older people seemed to know each other. Today's new recruits will be on the other side of the coin before they know it.

I'm sorry to hear that, twigz, that's a truly bad day. On the positive side, none of these are hopeless situations. Cancer treatment has drastically improved during the last decade, and if it's caught early, it's usually overcome.

I am hoping that her family is well supported through this time of grief. Gosh the world is a dark place

This month I decided to do three things that I was very late for: I started watching Strager Things for the first time, I started reading Agatha's Big 4, and I bought a copy of 1984 (From George Orwel).

twigz I know I'm late to the thread, but my heart goes out to you & my DMs are always open. I've had a lot of people in my family experience the big C and the big S so if you ever need to vent, I'm here.

Many people criticized me with my original text (which I published on Tumblr) in which I said that Brazil is the country of lies and corruption. I was not criticizing my country. There was only one fact. I like to live here. But you can't close your eyes to reality. Around here, several nurses are "giving" the vaccine to the elderly against covid19 without actually making the liquid enter the body of the elderly, so that they can sell the vaccine to others or apply it in friends and relatives. I wonder if something like this has happened in other countries.

Damn. I wouldn't be surprised, tbh, though I'm hoping that better hospitals have ways to supervise it so this doesn't happen.

it's a shame that nurses aren't getting paid enough to feel as though they need to sell it!!!!!!!!
