INGREDIENTS 1 large egg white
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar
butter fortunes Preheat the oven to 400 degrees farenheit.
After whisking the egg white in a bowl, add the flour and suger, along with a pinch of salt and mix until smooth. Butter an area of the baking sheet and put about 2 teaspoons on the sheet and spread until its close to 3 inches wide and in the shape of a circle.
Bake cookie until it's golden on the edges, but the middle is still pale. With a spatula, remove the cookie off of the pan and flip onto a plate or other clean surface. Place the fortune in the cookie, leaving one end sticking out a little so you can put a Hello Kitty sticker on it later to make it extra cute! Then, fold the cookie in half. Grab the pointed edge of the cookie and bend over the rim of a bowl or glass to shape. Be careful though, cookies are very hot!
Make cookies a couple of days ahead so they have time to harden! Yields about 7 cookies.
