Okay.. whats a pond? what's a protist?
What is PH and what is it used for for? What is 7 on the PH scale? What's 1-6? 8-13?

Name an example of a protist.
If the pH number is high, is it an acid or a base? What if the pH number is low?
What is a buffer?
What instrument is used to measure pH levels?

7 is neutral 1-6 is acidic 8-13 is basic
litmus paper, pH paper....
and this is a random fact id like ot throw in: algal bloomthe rapid growth of a population of algae
red tide- adn algal blom in salt water
eutrophication- the buildup over time of the nutrients in freshwater lakes and ponds that leads to an increase in the growth of algae
herbivores eat only plants omnivores eat plants and animals carnivores eat just animals
fungus like protist--heterotrophs, cell walls, reproduce with spores, slime molds, downy mildews, water molds plant like protists--autotrophs, euglenoids, dinoflagellates, red algae, brown algae, green algae, diatoms animal like protists--heterotrophs, move by cilia, pseudopods, flagella, sarcodines, ciliates, zooflagellates, sporozoans

Ugh your questions were so much better Mamba. I couldn't remember anything that related just to pH.

How many cells do protists usually have?
Name three examples of how protist eat
What are three types of protists?
Where are protists found?
(Good old Grade 6...we studied protists for like 3 months)
What is neutral on a PH scale?
How do you counter-act acid? (like if it was spilled on something that corrodes)

Ok. Good. Protists usually have one cell. One type (might be parameciums or something have two)
Amoebas eat through their little finger-like hair on the outsides of them. The other kind of eating is like, enveloping their food.
Protists are found in ponds, or other stagnant waters.
I didn't understand half of that.
