Superbowl Halftime: I am sitting on the couch, enjoying the superbowl party, Watching the Halftime shows and crappy new commercials, and mourning over not being able to see the new PoA trailer that was on in the pre-show, when it happened. Every guy on the couch stood up and yelled at each other, "Did you see that?!" and, "Oh my God dude, I saw her boob!" high-fiving and stuff like that, all manly man. I went into the bathroom and puked. Only I don't know if that was from seeing Janet Jackson's breast, or the bean dip with a old expiration date I ate earlier. Either way, I know that I never want to see Janet Jackson's breast exposed OR eat bean dip ever again. Sick. She is way too old! Why don't celebrities just give up when they are washed up. Cher did, finally. *sigh of relief* It was pathetic hearing her suffering. Now Janet needs put out of her misery, also. Yeah. I'm done now.

I still stand by my tuna and apricot statement. Now, instead of having the Grammys live, they're postponning the air date so they can edit any innapropriate content. And, I was flipping threw the channels today, and I saw a Janet Jacksons concert. I watched the first bit, and there's a part where she takes off her shirt, and there's a complete 5 seconds at lest of a sideview of her bare breast(all is visible) but somehow at a halftime show, this is innapropriate. Care to explain anyone?

Actualy, it was an old concert. Aired a couple of years before this. But it's true, people don't watch football for bare breasts, they watch it for the guys running around in tight pants and large shoulder pads. How manly. ;D

as for the super bowl and sex...you have obviously all forgotten... the Swedish Bikini Team I'm tired of this "football is for family" since when? Remember the XFL? and that was on NBC in the afternoons on the weekends. Having Britney Spears gyrating on a commercial and having Bob Dole watch on TV and go "down boy" I think people are being hypocritical. it was okay for the dancers to gyrate during the song, but a split second of a bare breast (and I couldn't tell if it was actually her breast or if she has some sort of flesh covering on (which many singers have done by the way) was labeled by one punduit as "the biggest controversy ever" (bigger than going to war for false pretenses I might add) gee I can't believe I saw a flash of a breast on an MTV halftime show....who is being naive?

Goblin, I think you're taking things a bit too far. The people that are actually upset are upset also at the type of commercials shown, at the cheerleaders, and they're the same people that protest A & F catalogs. It isn't some double standards thing. . of course I am...it gives me an excuse to post pics of the Swedish Bikini team....

I don't get why Janet did it, I really don't think she needed to.. and I'm not sure how old she is but she is so not old and washed up. She looks amazing. she "looks amazing" cause she's had as much plastic surgury as her psycho brother.

It's the Canadian version of MTV. I just don't find abs attractive. Good for her looking all muscly and being in good shape, but bleh! I'm just not a fan.

Swans, I'm not saying I don't give her credit. Ok, I said it wrong back there. I'm sure it's not all facials nd all that crap. Sorry, I'm in a weird mood tonight.

I know she still looks amazing, but the fact is, nobody cares anymore. She is just washed up. I'm not much of a fan, I like a couple of songs, but thats it. She looks too much like her brother for me to like her. Well, strike that. You shouldn't judge people by their family. *sigh*
And your welcome neggie, never eat bean dip.

"It was Groundhog Day this week. Janet Jackson's boob popped out of it's hole and we wil have six more weeks of over-reaction."
That was just on the Weekend Update. I'm probably being way out of topic but that was just so funny.

Rikku, I don't know if she has had work done but give the woman some credit-- she works out probably like six hours a day and goes on strict diets to get that body. See the abs? Yeah, you can get plastic surgery to suck fat out but you really do have to work for abs. I'm not very consistent with my ab workouts but I can say they are hard. I'm not going to "give her credit" for obsessing over her body: going on "strict diets" and "working out 6 hours a day". That's stupid, forces a bad image on young women, and it's just not healthy. To sacrifice that much for your body image isn't something to be admired, in my opinion. I know you were exagerrating to some extent, swans. But, still, it all goes with what I said earlier about sex in the media. Dumb. And I'll remember about the bean dip, hermy.

Why was Janet even in a Justin Timberlake song? (No, I didn't watch the Superbowl, but I've seen what happened more times than needed) Also I heard that the halftime show was really crappy, the artists sang old songs, etc. As my mother put it: They (media - ever watch entertainment tonight?) are just overreacting. It's what they all wanted in the first place. And speaking of Entertainment Tonight- They are still talking about it. On the Saturday hour-long edition, it was all about Janet and Michael and the recent events of both of them. (ie- Superbowl/molestation charges) and the other day, on MuchMoreMusic (another Canadian music channel) they were playing many old Janet videos, like the one where she is in the jail (?) and its in black and white. Sorry, I'm not a Jackson fan. Theres my rant. Hoped you enjoyed it
