What are your opinions on physical attractions? They're horrible. And they're scary. Especially if there is a wide age difference in which the man is older. Men seem to often take advantage of women, but not many times etc vise versa. So what are your opinions?Do you agree with physical attractions?

You think physical attraction is horrible and scary? There's a certain amount of physical attraction in all relationships, so I hope you get over it by the time you're ready to date. Physical attraction is nature's way of getting the species to breed. It's also fun and exciting and part of what makes a relationship work.

Oh, I know that. I mean, the whole relationship just a physical attraction.

Nothin' wrong with a relationship being based on looks and lust alone. If you're trying to make it stick don't expect it to happen, but if you're just fooling around and want some fun, go for it.

Well, that's one way to get AIDS...
I personally think that relationships should at least partly be based on emotion. Mostly based, really, but that's just me. People who only base relationships on sexual attraction are not going to do so well when the settle down and start a family.

Well, assuming you're not a total idiot and go into it without a good deal of condoms and spermity-killing foam.

I'm not even talking about that. I'm just saying when you base relationships like that marriage may not last very long.

That's what I said.

Oh - sorry. I just thought you were saying it's OK as long as you don't get (your girlfriend) pregnant.

Understandable. Okay then.
Carry on!

Well, I just think that love and lust have different meanings. Take my girlfriend. Sure, she's very pretty. But I really love (OK, like, I guess love is pretty strong for a 13-year-old) her because she is funny, kind, and even cultured! (We went on a date to the art museum).

I'm not the standard garden variety of female. Brains attract me more than looks. Humour goes a long way in my book, too. I dated a rather plain guy 30 years my senior just because he made me laugh all the time. I never look twice at a guy shorter than me, though... and I have a weakness for men over 6'.

That's pretty funny about the height thing - that would work badly for me considering that I'm 5'7", pretty tall for a seventh-grader. It's funny, my girlfriend now is my height, but I've had crushes on little tiny girls as well.

J'adore tall men, but one of my best friends is petite and the perfect height for assaulting with hugs, so I guess it really depends. Tall, elegant men with neatly clipped moustaches, though--g'damn. I melt into a pile of Lunajelly. It helps if he acts flamboyant too. And accents always help.

Kind of like Rett Butler in Gone With the Wind? Cant remember the name of the guy who played him (and stupid me, he's like the most famous ctor ever) but I never understood why American society considered him so sexy...
