mine does... we do the national/presidential physical fitness test twice a year. i was just wondering if anyone else actually does those. and if you do well you get an award. theres the national award which is above average and then theres the presidential which is for exceptionally athletic people and then if you dont meet the national goal setting numbers for the tests you dont get anything. i always get national. this year so far my best scores are 10" for sit and reach, 50 sit ups per minute, 20 pushups w/o stopping (never been my strong point, i dont have a very good back no thanks to my dad so it starts to really hurt) i havent done the mile or pull ups yet. for pull ups ill probably get 6 for the mile i have no idea what ill get. probably sickeningly slow. but if you do one just reply and say what it is cos i want to know if my school is the only one that actually does those

Is this the thingie where you have to run back and forth to longer and longer points for however long you can last? Those weren't fun. My current school does no fitness tests we just judge by how well we do in sports.

My school does beep tests. If you are in PE, you do them once a week.

in PE we have to run 5 laps around both gyms, do 20 sit ups and 10 push ups. EVERY SINGLE DAY but everyone knows everybody does only 2 laps and cuts around the back gym. hehe

wow i remember the *beep*ing beep test... but once a week? we did it like 3 or 4 times a year We do ours on the days where we have a double block of PE. This accounting for the once a week. They also make us do the pushups and the strech test.

We have to do the beep test, 12 minute run and 3km run about once a term, and then we have all sorts of other random fitness tests during the year too.

I used to get patches for doing the testing... it wasn't so bad... Now, we have to do the beep test (I HATE IT) and pushups and sit-ups and a couple stretch tests. And at the end of the year we do the mile run. The thing that annoys me the most is that I can get Presidential (85% or better) on everything except running. It makes me sad
