What is Lemony's preferred writing tool?
In books 1-8 he seems to prefer a typewriter, as he apparently broke into a typewriter factory to type the story. But in TCC, in the beginning, he says [at the end of the day] "after I have hidden my pen..."
But later in the story, he is so tired, he can barely "type these worfs"
But at the end of TSS, the letter for TGG, it is entirely hand written in ink. Also, he as written in LSUA in ink, but it is harder to type on a book, or edit it in type.
What do you think?

good point. you might get a view of the timeline with this information. maybe he originally had a typewriter, but when all his stuff got destroyed (his 3rd favourite accordion, his box of wigs, his bullfighting costume etc.) he had to use a pen. this might shed some light on when the lsua was written.

He prefers typewriters but when he was locked in a restaurant in book 8 he was forced to use "a rather large pencil". The pen he's referring to might not be what he uses to write the books.

The page numbers are typed by what looks like a typewriter. I think the book was supposed to be more of a file or packet that Lemony compiled- in fact, the lady who gave it to the doorman explained that the man at the meeting said as much. So pages written in his handwriting (and others) mixed in with the typed ones make sense, if he wrote them all seperately and then just stuck them all in an envelope.

I think he takes notes with a pen/pencil/quill/whatever first, then he types a whole story and a note to the editor on when and where to retrieve it. Poor man, I can't stand typing on a typewriter. A computer is much easier.
