Maybe the carnival folk buy food in every town they stop at, and kind of hoard it. Or at least the condiments sticky enough to stop a speeding caravan. And glue. I still think that's funny.

I also think the glue is funny. Climbing the waterfall of the ss with what equipment they had is also a bit out there..

I want to try the fork-assisted frozen waterfall climb someday, maybe on my first date with a cute VFD neophyte cartographer. Perhaps it can be done; it would be just a bit harder than a steep rock-climb, which, unfortunately, I've never done.

It does sound quite fun and challenging doesn't it? Plus I love snowy environments so that's a plus.

I think the most impossible thing is Sunny climbing the eleavator with her teath. Theres about a .0001% chance that a baby could do that in real life.

The self sustaining hhmh is quite impossible, as well.

It would be impossible, at least with current technology. You'd run out of food and water.
Another impossible thing: The eagles carrying people off. Assuming those were bald eagles, which they look like in the illustrations, they couldn't carry off humans.

If there were enough... I want a sshamh. If we were able to invent a way of growing our own food while in the air in some device, and a renewable fuel, it would be possible... Well, at least it would be able to stay up for a few months.

There are ways of "recycling" used water for drinking, methods used on spacecraft, but I'd rather not think about those. You could grow food in the air, but you'd need a seriously large craft, like a space station. It would be cool if Hector had built one of those.

He probably had a large basket serving as a garden.
