??? Okay, so I can prove this theory, and maybe It's just a crazy coincedence, but who here has noticed that Episodes of Spongebob sometimes have referances to ASOUE in them? Like in the episode "Bubble Buddy", the menu has "Capitain Olaf's Seaweed shake" at the bottom of it. And in "Fear of a Krabby Pattie," it had something involving hypnosis. Anyone notice any others? (Is Spongebob in the UK?)
Strange. I don't think they meant to reference it to ASOUE, though.
Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it. - C.S. Lewis
I believe the episode 'Bubble Buddy' was made quite a while before ASOUE was even going to be a movie. Though, I'm not entirely sure. I just remember viewing that episode for the first time a very long while ago. Still, they might've made it as an in-joke about the books.
