My theory is Josephine's maiden name is Spats. We know her married name is Anwhistle because that is also Ike's name.
Spats would fit because it is an "S" name and Spats would fit well into the JS theme.

Yeah. Josephine and Jerome. And also Hector, since he has an irrational fear (vs. Josephines's 500+ irrationals- you never know this could be an act) Hector's fear are the VFD town Elders.

the town elders. That would make sense since it seems like everyone is related, somehow. someone should figure out how lemony and olaf are related, or figure out where the bauds would be if they were olaf's 3rd cousins 4 times removed or vice versa. The "I" on the family tree could be for Isaac (aka Ike)

Right, but it could also mean I as in the person who made the family tree - like the transcript. Oh well. I like Ike better than the I pronoun.

we do not know hector's last name, but we know he is in vfd, thanks to the autiobiography. hopefully in or before the last book, all will be revealed

I think this is insane. You people are posting rubbish. You can theorize, but cmon people. I think that Josephine anwhistle is just that, Josephine Anwhistle. If your going to post threads, do it with back-up knowledge, not just because you think that it would fit in with the whole JS thing.
