the thing you said about the loss of beatrice sparked a thing in my brain. currently in my possesion, i have the almost complete set of audiobooks from my library (btw, i CANNOT STAND tim curry) but i have only listned to TWW, TBB. anywhay, weird out-there idea: beatrice could have been dr orwell. v. farfetched, but if he sings about the loss of beatrice, he could have sang about the hyptnotism or the mill ("in the unlucky smells lumbermill"). just a theory (*i dont really belive it*)

did you know the Gothic Archies, who sing the songs, have a member, steven merritt, who is also in the magnetic feilds. So DH got him to sing the songs he'd written, i geuss.

I think Beatrice is the Baudelaire's mother... I mean here are some facts about Beatrice...
1. She is dead (duh)
2. Fire played a part in her death
3. She met with Esme on a Thursday for tea
4. An anagram from 'The Hostile Hospital' on the list of patients is Beatrice Baudelaire
5. Esme feels Beatrice stole something from her and by stealing the Baudelaire fortune she will have had revenge

Also... If Lemony Snicket was madly in love with her, then wouldn't he feel compelled to write the story of her childrens' life (a big favor). Also, if she feels Beatrice stole something from her, wouldn't it make it even to steal her childrens' fortune?

I think and have proff that betrice is the baudelaires mother and i will give u the info but not now but betrice is mrs.baudelaires mother also ls never says the real name of the parents soo thats what i think
