I wasn't sure where to post this, so here it is. We've discussed the poetry of Charles Baudelaire, but I found a note today containing a quote from this gentleman:
'I love Wagner; but the music I prefer is that of a cat hung up by its tail outside a window and trying to stick to the panes of glass with its claws' — Charles Baudelaire.
Personally, I like Wagner's music, but I love catty comments like this as well.
