Someone ordered it to be sent there. I do believe it says that in TUA. I think it was Jacques or Lemony. But they wanted it to be safe, I think. sigh... i have to read it again.

K could have done it, records get sent to Heimlich Hospital, so it's no wonder the Bauds found it

It was at Uncle Monty's house, and i *think* Jacques found it, he could have brought it to Hiemlich before his untimely death.

maybe he sent it to the Quags through the post and then Quigley gave it to Jacques, who went there before the village of V.F.D.

if it was at Uncle Monty's maybe Quigley found it in the house after the baud's had left...read it..then sent it to Heimlich hospital because he might've heard the Baud's were there...:s maybe

but then quiqley would of told them and then sunny didn't need to evasdrop which means they would be on their way to the hotel insetad of swimin to it it would have save them some trouble though

But Quigley might not have found it- Jacques might have, which explains why he might have had to set off so suddenly for Paltyville. Um... Paltyville could be near Heimlich, or he could have mailed it through the post office before spying on the Baudelaires, or whatever he was doing in that town.

The library at Heimlich Hospital was much more than a repository of information for the hospital itself. I don't recall any mention of who put the file into the library, only that it was there and someone had taken twelve of thirteen pages. That someone seems to have been either TMWABBNH or TWWHBNB. I also don't recall that either Jacques or Quigley had the file at Uncle Monty's. There was other information there, but not the file.

If Lemony or Jacques had the file wouldn't they have kept it? Unless, like someone said, it was safe.
