If you're about to make a thread about Beatrice, for the love of God, DON'T. *applauds* My sentiments exactly. There are way too many of them as is, and sometimes it's discussed in topics not even originally about Beatrice... it drives me crazy.

Of course there are that many, I use about 3 of them and end up repeating what I've already said at least twice. It really is starting to irk me as much as I enjoy arguing about it. But Other, that's it I'm calling you J now because I'm sick of calling you other, but anyway you kind of went against your own advice because in making this thread you, in effect, started another thread related to Beatrice. Existing members will read this and listen to you, but newbies will not read this before they post another thread. Sadly, that's what will happen I'm afraid.

There will always be poeple who repost a thread that may have already been adressed, its just going to happen, but I think that putting out announcements like this may help, because it lets new pople (like me) know to search before posting.

It is helpful, and if you want additional assurance that new beatrice threads will not pop up(I've noticed two more since I first read this) you should pm a mod and ask him/her to mass pm people and tell them not to make anymore Beatrice threads.

...you kind of went against your own advice because in making this thread you, in effect, started another thread related to Beatrice. Not quite. It's a topic about topics about Beatrice, not Beatrice herself. In this way, people have a one-stop resource for finding all the Beatrice topics they could ever want, though they don't find discussion about her here. I think it's a good idea. If they could somehow all be combined into one topic, that'd be neat.

Its like an Index. One that has too many threads. I also have noticed an increase in Beatrice related threads, so when I post about her, I usually put some sort of warning that I didn't say her name to turn it into another Beatrice thread.
And this isn't a thread about Beatrice. It is one about the threads about Beatrice, like Celinra said.

U guys needn't take things so seriously, I was attempting to be funny, but apparently failed. Sorry 'bout that. It's hard to tell online, though, when you can't tell the other person's tone of voice or anything. So, let's blame... Mike Pope, who wrote an essay about Generation X and the internet.

That's ok, I've noticed lots of misunderstandings on the site and I've misunderstood people too. I still see more Beatrice threads coming up...
