Both the harmonica and the nail polish were mentioned in TWW. The harmonica was mentioned when the children were looking for Aunt Josephine's books on Lake Lachrymose. But I'm not sure where the nail polish is mentioned, but it said that one day when the three children were bored, they painted their toenails red and Sunny spilled it on the yellow chair.
