I said this in my LJ a while ago...
Do you think it's better to like somebody you've talked to, but never seen? Or seen, but never talked to? Like, are IM friendships and/or crushes better than 'real life' ones, since you know their real personaltiy (everybody's more open on IM...) Or is it better to like a guy/girl just cuz you think they're hot? Cuz the IM one might be dangerous, but the 'rela life' one could be a total @$$...

there's reasons you should only date someone offilne, but there are resons you should date online, too.
with dating offline, you probably would get a better idea of who they are and stuff, but online, you don't judge people by their looks or other

I'm obsessed with someone. I think it's because I've met them in real life, though. Yeah. In real life it helps, as you know how they look and stuff. Plus, you can see if they are lying, whereas online, they could be just about anything and you can't see if they are being truthful. However, online you can judge their personality and their characteristics and stuff. Offline, you might not really have to look for that. But online, sometimes it's a joke crush........ If I'm "obsessed", with someone, my crush is offline. And, I'm not judging him only by his looks, although he is quite hot. He is also quite intelligent and nice. |
