Okay. Are we sure that the V in V.F.D. means Volunteer? I mean, when Jacques said it, it could have been a slip of the tongue because he was nervous. No? Once, when I was nervous because I was being rushed my other customers, I said I'd have mushrooms on my burger even though I am allergic to them. A WHOLE £2.50 WASTED! So...what do you think?

No. The Quagmire notebooks said that the V is Volunteer in chapter five of THH.

No, because it's not UK bound yet. It could be Vounlteers For Diguises- after all, it would explain why members are mad about disguises. Apart from the fact to hide from enemies.

Maybe it's a RED HERRING. Anyone heard of 'em before? Apparently not. Maybe the Quags were going to say "VOLUNTEER IS NOT THE RIGHT WORD!"

Who says they were even saying what V.F.D. stood for. They might be saying;

Or summin like that.

In LSAUB It says VFD also stands for Veiled Facial Disguises. And theres a list of Disguises, and there all the ones that Count Olaf used!
