I thought it was weird how Violet became the reasercher and Klaus became the inventor
wait Ty, if it was like a HP book to you, does that mean you don't like HP?

I find it amazing how many people thought the Miserale Mill and the Vile Village were dull. In fact, the Vile Village is my 3rd favorite (fav The Ersatz Elevator and 2nd the Hostile Hospital) I like them all. But if I HAD to pick one, I would say my least favorite is the Reptile Room.

Yeah, I know. I'm not sure what it is about them, but they jsut bore me to death. I could just only bring my self to reread them. (I used to buy them, read them and then read them aloud to my cousin. ) Yippee for TEE!

hmmm, I liked TVV. I did like TMM, but it wasn't one of my favs. I'd have to say my least fav is TRR.

I didn't like TMM, but I thought TVV was great! In TMM, I don't like the way Violet and Klaus switch places. Violet should always be the inventor, and Klaus should always reasearch. I like it that way. And i agree that TRR is the most boring.

the Miserable Mill is my least favourite of the books...but that doesn't mean i don't like it...i love them all! ^__^
the Reptile Room, will always be up there on my favourites..because it has three things in it that are part of my all time favourite things...
1) snow 2) zombies 3) coconut cake
and since the Slippery Slope will be set in a snow surrounding...it's sure to top my list as favourite book...i love things that are cold...its my favourite atmosphere...
but the reason the Miserable Mill is my least favourite was simply...from Klaus' glasses keep breaking..i would go.."no!!! not again!!!"..i was getting really irritated during that book! ^__^

Just because I didn't like the book doesn't mean I didn't yell "noooooooooooo!"

Oh...poor Klaus...I forgot that happened...yeah, TRR is sort of dull too. I think I didn't like TMM as much because of Dr. Orwell. Don't ask, because I don't know why she bored me so.

The main reason I didn't like TMM as much was because the formula was getting boring (thankfully it changed when the Quagmires came in... at least a little).

I think part of it might be is that the Baudelaires were always tired in that book, and some of it rubbed off on the readers. I don't like it because the ending is so bizzarre, along with the whole situation, that it didn't seem at all realistic.

Good point about the tiredness thing...
But I have to say it: Do any of these books seem to depict realistic stories?
