This bothered me a bit. Right now, I am reading The Austere Academy (again)...and I was looking at the cover art...And noticed two people having a food-fight (or arguing, you can't really tell because it is so far away) far in the background. It probably isn't important, but it still bothers me. It was strange, I dunno.

It probably isn't important, but it still bothers me. It was strange, I dunno. Those two people in the back, in food-throwing poses, are said to be the Quagmires. They have black hair and are dressed in blue. Staring at the cover, I noticed the following probably insignificant oddities: 1. Posture of Baudelaires reminiscent of Oliver Twist."Please sir, can I have some more sir?" 2. Some boy with an unnervingly long neck. 3. Carmelita and her friend( to the left of her) with nasty expressions.

Well, I figured, but I wasn't for sure, because I thought the Quags had black hair. I am not sure why I thought this. And why would they be food fighting? I noticed the boy with the giraffe neck, too. *shudder* It was very unnerving. Wonder if it means anything.

Ineedyourhelp: Don't think that was a compliment, but thanks anyway. It is art by Gottfried Helnwein. Click on it and it will take you to his official website.
I thought the background people (Quags?) had brown hair in the cover picture...And then the picture at the back shows them with black hair, I think.

Um... I don't think it shows this n the UK cover (damn UK... They release TSOUEs later here. I only got TSS yesterday. ), although it does have a pic of Spats, from my memory. Could someone show me a picture of the cover?

I noticed the Baudelaires, Nero, Carmelita, her nasty friend, the Quagmires... All but the food fighting people. Hum. I wonder what it's for...
