Anyone notice how the library in The Austere Academy is full of ocean decoration, the major setting-aspect of book six? Is this some sort of foreshadowing? Evidence for a connection between Esme and the Prufrock staff? Meaningless coincidence? Tell me what you think.

actually, that provokes a little thinking....i dont see how that could be a plain coincedence, maybe esme and olaf worked out something with nero allowing olaf to escape with the quagmires? or sumthin like that, promising him the "innest" new things such as ocean decorations. Nero seems like the kind of idiot who would make that kind of a deal. meh, its a dumb theory, but thats the best i could do in 3 minutes. Good thread though, very observant. ;D

That's pretty interesting, I didn't notice that at all. I think there might be a connection, after looking at this thread. I agree with the Captain. Good observation. ;D

I think perhaps the principle is Esme, and Nero works for her. Or better yet, Jerome! That could be how he gotthe money to buy the Penthouse.

Good idea Teendude. But how come Jerome never mentioned it when they were living together?
