Thanks for posting, Sam. This matter has been discussed before, but it's a problem worthy of speculation. I have a theory that Nero is an evil VFDer, so if the non-vice principal is in good VFD he's probably locked in a basement somewhere.

Did it ever occur to you that I could be talking to someone who is not you? Look at Beer's username.

man u don't have to be snotty about it, geez oh, jeez, here we go again. anyways, I like your idea Tocuna of the principal being locked in a basement. Because for anyone who has read the author notes of TBBRE iy speculates that Nero is evil.

I think he was also the violinist whom the Baudelaire parents saw performing years ago. It's been suggested that they were at a VFD meeting when they heard the performance, which implies that Nero infiltrated a good VFD get-together. Apparently his plot failed, unless the entire objective was torture by violin.

Swans, I am disinclined to agree with you. I think that Nero knows more than we think.. He is probably very evil. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.........sorry.
Speaking of evil cackles, I wonder how Nero's laugh sounds...

Is there anything WRONG with being a nerd? Being a nerd means that ur smart. And nero is NOT really smart (almost nobody in the series is) so... probably not

If memory serves, Lemony describes his laugh as sounding like a goat munching tin cans...or maybe that was his violin playing. His laugh is a terrible grating one.
