In the movie, at that bit where they are trapped in the car and Olaf goes into the store, could this be the Last Chance General Store...?

It is the Last Chance General Store.
The clue is that it has the words "Last Chance" written on the roof.

Sorry I haven't seen it yet as I live in Britain and it has only just been released where I live I also live in Britain, and I've seen it. I also saw pictures, long before the premiere, of the Last Chance General Store, complete with the words on the roof.

Also, isn't this supposed to be in the movie thread?

It's discussing a location in the series, so I'll allow it. It could really go on either board.

There's a 3-d rotating scene of the Last Chance General Store (near some train tracks) available on the official movie website.

In the movie, at that bit where they are trapped in the car and Olaf goes into the store, could this be the Last Chance General Store...? Okay, so your telling me that the Last Chance General Store is right next to train tracks, yet in the picture in THH there is no train tracks for miles. I don't know, but the movie is a bit deranged, don't you agree?

Okay, I really have to say something now. This keeps bugging me, and now I'm going to DO something about it.
The store in the movie is not, repeat NOT the Last Chance General Store. It is the LAST CHANCE SUPERETTE. Superette. Not General Store. See? It's a chain of stores. Like...Target and Target Greatland, and...K-Mart and Super-K...and...other stores that are the same only with slightly different names. From the people that brought you the Last Chance General Store, it's the Last Chance Superette, blah blah blah, OKAY?
Thank you for your time.

Although I have evidence of inconsistencies in your report! As this screenshot from the Count Olaf website shows, the store in the movie is probably intended to be, at the very least based on, the Last Chance Gener el Store. Gosh, it's so nice to have that spelling cleared up, eh? Who'd have thought that I'd been misspelling "genereal" for so many years! Edit: Gosh, it also tells us when the movie is set! Who'd have thought that Count Olaf would be the one to bring us such information, eh? [/SARCASM AND POINTING OUT MISTAKES AND OTHER WEIRD STUFF]

OUCH. That burns!
I'm changing sides, now. I'm horribly disgusted at this laxness among the movie people. It's like when I saw the video game and it called Olaf their uncle. I mean, it didn't even say that in the movie. I think I have a tendency to lump all the ASoUE promotional thing(movie, websites, video game, other products) people together, and that's not correct, but you'd think they'd have some communication.
That screenshot makes me weep.
