Rap isn't music--as said before, it's a guy speaking, dully, unintelligibly and monotonously, with lyrics that rip apart the last shreds of society's moral fabric, while a drum beats behind him, and women make sounds that you'd hear during sex. not always... but that's what appeals to someone(too many someone's) so that's what sells, so that's what get's made more... if you search hard enough you can find good rap songs...but now there's too much salsa it's usually not worth the effort...

Hehe..I was reading the title to this thread, and I came up with this strange rhyme:
I hate rap. I really do. If you were rap, I would hate you.
Hehe...

I don't really. Other than the super-funky green outfits, the video sucks.
The song is annoyingly catchy.
But I like it.

do you think that if there was less prejudice in the world, rap would be liked better?

That, my friend, was a stupid statement. People who don't like rap aren't racist. It means, they don't like rap.
I suppose you can point out that the rap scene is dominated by those of the african american race, but there's still the white rappers and the latino rappers and the chinese rappers...really, the hatred of rap comes from the annoyingness of rap "music", the hatred of the term "bling bling" and really any other "ghetto slang" (and no, the whole "ghetto " annoyance thing isn't racism either, because it's not the color I hate, it's the ideas and actions behind being "ghetto".) and so on an so forth.
I suppose that there are some people who won't give rap a chance because they're a couple of mindwashed racist idiots, but the greater portion of us don't care what color the rapper is-we just want them to shut the hell up.
