In 1947, in Roswell New Mexico, a UFO supposevly crashed and and aliens died. I think it really happened. What do you think?
For almost 60 years, it was a government cover-up, until now. . .

I don't think it's true. But it could be possible...

Something like 'aliens'? How could intelligent life outside our planet not be possible? That's the real question. Do we really beleive that in a never ending universe we're the only ones here? That's just shallow and vain of ourselves. I don't think Roswell happened, but I do think there is life besides us, I just refuse to call that life aliens. Eh, I'm complicated.

I'm not sure the Roswell incident happened. Anything is possible, but I'm not sure the government would have been able to keep it quiet for so long (a thing I read said they'd have to call in scientists to study the things, and they like to share what they learn with other scientists to get more ideas and whatnot, so...) I think there is life besides us. I don't see how there can not be, there's so much room in the universe. Also, it'd be rather proud of us to assume we're the only living planet in the galaxy. Pandora, I'm curious, why don't you call them 'aliens'?

No they're not humans, but that doesn't mean they all fit into one nice little category called 'alien'. We are not the standard. I think alien means strange and unusual and just because they are from another planent doesn't mean they are any of those things. Being strange to us does not alien make. We find everything strange. We have this whole cliche of other life forms. They have to be smarter, uglier, and meaner than us every time. Meaning smart enough to have powerful high tech spaceships and technology we never thought of. Ugly meaning obviously, all 'aliens' are portrayed as ugly.. well except on one Star Trek episode the other being was this big ball of light, she was really beautiful but she was hiding herelf because she thought she could only be pretty as a human. Oh and meaner being they always want to destory us with their big fancy spaceships. So yes. And I don't know if this makes sense because I forgot the complete logic behind what I said last night.

the defenition for alien is
a being from another planet or another part of the universe, especially in works of science fiction
so, they are aliens. . .

Well, I defy defenitions. No, I just don't like classifying them like that. And if we want to play the defenition game alien also means A person who is not included in a group; an outsider. Just because other life forms are different from our group doesn't mean they are aliens.

they are aliens. if there not human, animal, plant, bacteria, or anything else that hasnt been classifyed on this planet is considered alien. why are we aguing over a stupid subject?
