Just a funny article from a humor site I like, called the Brunching Shuttlecocks. Anyone else like Brunching? www.brunching.com/eternalquestions.htmlThis is intended as satire, not to be taken seriously. But some of those answers are almost sensible. What is the meaning of life? Why is there air? How much wood would a woodchuck chuck? These questions and more are answered, almost sensibly.

It didn't answer 'which came first: the chicken or the egg?' or 'why did the chicken cross the road?'

I'll answer those: Chicken/Egg: The first chickens actually gave live birth, therefore it's the chicken. Chicken/Road: The chicken never finished crossing the road. It got run down by a semi truck. This was the last of the non-egg-laying chickens. One Hand Clapping: Rather loud, if you clap it against a wooden table, a garden shed, or your other hand. Or, sort of fold your hand and slap the fingertips against the palm. Listen carefully; that's the sound.

Two different animals hundreds of years ago mated and made an agg, which the chicken was hatched from, therefore the egg was first. Chicken/road: These two different animals were walking across the road with two of their hatchlings when a wheel the cavemen had just invented ran them over (the semi trailer wasn't invented back then), but luckily the two baby chickens made it across safely, so they mated and made more chickies! One Hand: I agree with you there with the one hand clapping sound thingy.
