I'm not tan at all, so I'm pretty pale. I think it's normal to everyone that their chest is more pale than their arms, and I hope you haven't caught the slight crudity in that. I don't think tans are that bad, by the way. Very very pale skin doesn't look that good.

I'm so sorry. I'm wrong. My skin looks tan. But it isn't if you look closely. It's pink. *gasps*

Hum...I tan easily, but I do my best not to. Not really because I want to be super pale (though I wouldn't mind...and I can't achieve it anyway...), but because I'm really paranoid about skin cancer. So I do my best to stay out of the sun and I slather on the sunscreen when I do. My skin is just all...normal looking, slightly tan. Tis the italian/spanish in me, I guess...then I'm also german and norweigen...because you all care so much.
I don't know...tan skin is cool if you're naturally that color, but I don't really like the whole "fake tanning" look. It just...irks me.

I don't care about skin color on other people, really. And about mine, I'll be whatever the person I have a crush on likes! ;D

Oh, if this post is also about our heritage, then I'm Russian and Lithuanian on my mom's side, and who knows what on my dad's side. I don't know a lot about my family history.

Oh yum! You're Spanish/Norweigen? What are the percents on that? BTW, do you know what part of Spain/Germany? Yeah, I am. Lucky me! I don't know really...but I'd guess about twenty five percent of each. My mom's about half german/norweigen and my dad's about half spanish/italian...*shrugs* Of course, I may be remembering wrong too. But something like that. I know it's all really simple-like.

I'm a fourth Korean so I have a naturally dark complexion that is constantly being bleached my the glow of my computer monitor. The only time I'm actually in the sun is when I play soccer. This sort of presents a problem with my tan lines. Basically, my knee is dark and my shin is white. Then my thigh is sort of white. The tan is from where my soccer shorts end and my shinguards begin. And it looks really funky in a bikini, I can tell you that. What really annoys me is that I tan so easily that after two soccer games into the season, my soccer tan is back and it never really fades over. Ever. At the beach I tried to tan it over, but as my shins and thighs got darker, my knees did too. I'm doomed to have this funky tan line FOREVER.

I think that tanning is great, but its really bad for your skin and can give you skin cancer.
So i think that fake tan is the best because you can have a tan without the risk of cancer.
Thankyou for reading!! Luv Phoebe
