Carrey is not Olaf. Olaf is...is...not Carrey. Carrey could have been spot on--now he doesn't even look like Olaf to me anymore. Let's just say...Carrey's performances makes it Nickelodeon. Or, let me be less hard on Carrey--Nickelodeon maks Carrey's performance.

Is it wrong that the moment I saw the topic of this thread I immediately thought "so someone actually thought of Jim Carrey/Olaf slash? How would THAT work?"
Other than that I have nothing to contribute to this thread. Apologies.

Couldn't you contain your complaints to one long rant thread? There's really no need for a separate topic on each injustice you feel is being dealt to the books.

Ohh stopp this, Carrey is Count Olaf we must accept it. I think he is the perfect choice. But I have a question. How many characters are Jim Carrey playing in the movie. According to this interview Cedric the Entertainer tells that he is doing about 5 characters!! Can this be true, I thought it only was a bout 3??

Well... Cedric the Entertainer did say. "He plays, like, 5 characters." Notice the word "like." So... my point is he'd prolly thinking of a number from the top of his head.
Like, I'd say "I've seen the ASOUE trailer, like, 500 times!!!" When it was really only 12.
Keep your faith in Carrey, people and remember all the aspects in ASOUE weren't made to be in a movie and appeal to Hollywood.
