Jim is perfect for the role. Everyone talks about how much better Crispin Glover would be. But he wouldnt. Jim is great.

Everyone talks about how much better Crispin Glover would be. But he wouldnt. CRISPIN IS GOD. He would be wonderful at ANY role. But he would've really been great as Olaf. He has the perfect Olaf image. He would played Olaf as a creepy villan... not a stupid funny guy. I just cannot see Jim Carrey in the role. I can't. And I'm not saying this because I'm an uber Crispin fangirl, either.

I'm torn on this one. At first I was afraid of Jim ruining the whole film with his antics, but he looks so good in that costume and vaguely Satanic makeup. However, his silly behavior in the trailer renewed my fears somewhat. I'm still torn.

I had to sit threw the movie, Like Mike, and Crispin Glover was in it. Hes not a bad actor, but he is no Count Olaf. Jim is being funny in a sort of crazy, evil, and mean way. That is perfect for Olaf.

I voted "Perfect for the Role." I think he'll do a good job. Count Olaf had a sort of humerous evilness about him and we all know Jim is funny, so all I'm hoping for is evilness. Hopefully we'll see that in the movie.

I said sort of, but I'm moving on. Jim Carrey wasn't the best actor for Olaf, but he definantely wasn't the worst.

It's hard to say for sure until December 17th when the movie comes out.
Little snippets from the trailer is not enough to really judge how Jim will be in the whole movie.
I'm more worried about how Klaus and Violet have changed in the trailer from the books.
