Ill post what I please, thank you. If someone wishes to contradict me, go ahead. Id love to hear it. I encourage confrontation if one feels they need to play along in it. Go on, people, just keep shouting off at me. Id love to hear it! ;D
Mr. Wonderful (which is such a modest name-not), all I hear from you is about how you know so much about this film. Well, thats fine and dandy, but weve already heard all of it except for your input about the PIECE of the script you read. Im not totally disagreeing with you, Im just saying that you arent putting things in the right way they should be put, if such a way exists. Particularly since you, like everyone else here, have to pin labels on all of the actors of the film, you have to let us know for the millionth time that Klaus does wear glasses, as most already know anyway, and you have to keep us informed on everything we can simply read in articles that are already on the internet.
And I do know a good deal about this film. Some of that good deal isnt supposed to leave the hands typing these words. I have insiders of my own. Your not the know one around here. Ask teh user called Ineedyourhelp. Hes got one too. Ill admit that I dont know everything, and thats fine. In fact, I dont wanna know everything.
I should purpously go and change my user name to Olafsass just for you, Mr.Wonderful74. But I wont do that because I have enough respect for the people around me to not go spouting off 3rd grade insults to people I dont know.
Lets all remember that having to read 8 good reasons to see teh film probably isnt a good thing. Mr.Wonderful74, youd be smart to stop trying to convince people to like or go see the movie. Let them be and let them see.
Personally, I think Tyler Quagmire's list is the best Ive seen so far. Simple, to the point, and not pointing to himself to look like some sort of red carpet walker. Thank you, Tyler Quagmire, for making the best darn list Ive ever seen on this forum!

Thank you, Tyler Quagmire, for making the best darn list Ive ever seen on this forum! If I'm a pathetic being for having to make a list of reasons why the movie will work, I guess that makes you equally pathetic, seeing as you did the same. Also, it's not like I'm trying to force everybody to see the movie, I'm simply trying to let them see the movie from different perspectives. MrWonderful74 isn't supposed to be cocky. It's a simple nickname. Obviously too simple for you to understand. And that's cool that you have insider sources. I was simply saying that I have them, too. You're turning this into some sort of competition. This worries me. Anyway, I've always been a smartass and have always questioned "authority", if that's what you wish to call yourself, and I'm not going to change. I can see that we have some of the same qualities... Not neccessarily positive qualities, but hey, we both have good and bad, I guess the bad is just outshining the good right now. Yes, Tyler Quagmire's list was good. Let's end this. I was just trying to help. If you really hate my thread, don't enter it anymore. Let's stop the madness.

I'm afraid that Jim Carry will not make it scary enough tho. See, in all the books, you can feel what an awful pedictament these children are in, and they are trapped, no one can help them, as they know all to well. Poe is an idiot, and Justice Strauss doesn't believe them...so you need to be able to feel that in between all the good comedy.
Also, I've been wondering, why doesn't Klaus have glasses in the trailers? Can the do TMM with that in mind? (Will they get that far?

We cannot state this enough: There's at least one scene in the trailer when Klaus has glasses on. They just aren't very conspicuous.

Yeah, sure, we have some of teh sam qualities. Ill put that aside, because its not such a great thing. Im not a very virtuous person. Im not pathetic for restating the list that you didnt do correctly. All of these things have already been said and are useless to be said again. but what have i got to lose. Certainly not time, since its still Summer time for me. If people come here and read your message about how holy grail this movie shall be, then they will pick up some of teh wrong stuff. You see, I dont care so much for people opinions if people are being thick headed. But if they have teh right minds and know what theyre talking about. Trust me, Ive heard people (even above) complain still about Klaus's glasses. You see, people still dont get it. As a human being, stop feeding them info like its salmon flavored ice cream or something and let them figure it out on their own. Especially since a bit of the ice cream oyku were feading them had already melted.

I heard about the puppet show too. It struck me as odd that Handler would change the script based on his own books so much. However, this was Handler's first screenwriting project, right? I believe it's his third screenplay. The other two films are have just made the festival circuits... Kill The Poor and Rick. The later comes out on DVD this November, I believe. As for Handler changing his own story, this is not uncommon. Nabokov made many changes to Lolita when he wrote the screenplay (though Kubrick changed it even more), and Douglas Adams is famous for almost completely rewriting the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in every new incarnation. It's their perogative as the creators to add something fresh to the experience, which is why I get so bent out of shape when I see people react so negatively to even the smallest change from the prose of the source material. It's a new experience, and I have no problem with changes that enhance the experience for the medium...within reason of course. Blade Runner is an extreme example of straying so completely from the source material that it bears almost nothing in common with it, and instead must almost be viewed as an original work. I just hope that even if ASOUE strays considerably from the books, that it's simply a good film in the spirit of the source material. If so, I will consider my money well spent. Here's Hander's entry on IMDB: www.imdb.com/name/nm1274516/And the poster for Rick: www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0363029/Ss/0363029/RICK.jpg?path=gallery&path_key=0363029

OlafsAssociate, I compiled that list, so people, like the poster above, would stop complaining about Klaus' glasses etc. Also, I wanted this to stop, but obviously you're too caught up in yourself to want it to end. I, too, don't like listening to thick-headed peoples opinions. That may be why I don't care too much for you anymore. I used to like you as a poster.

Um, I think this is the first pst where Ive replied to you ever. But anyways....
Ugh. Listen, Ill throw in teh towel on this one, but I cant assure you Ill be tame in the future. Thats just the type of person I am. Im just kind used to arguing because Im used to people disagreeing with me in real life, about just about everything, even when they can admit that Im right (and Im obviusly not always right). Thats just the way I am. People like to look over me and go on to something else beacause most of them just dont care.
So this time, Ill call it quits. It was useless for me to start arguing. But like i said, if I get all yucky in teh future, warn me and dont take it personally, then Ill stop.
