Okay I'm not litterally afraid of it, just the fact that the preview is so different from the books - I'm afraid they changed it a lot. ( Then again, movies are so much different then books.) But also, my family will see it, they might not get the real thing.( Plus they tease me since I'm in love with them.)

I know how you feel. They'll definately make the movie different from the books. I just hope they don't center it around The Bad Beginning.

The marvelous marriage is shown at the end of the whole film, so there will be no point in them showing much in TBB

From what I've heard, the film will take most of its plot from book 1, with the stories of books 2 and 3 sort of embedded in it.

*sigh* Its really like Book 1 with books 2 and 3 sadwiched in there.
Anyway, Im not afraid at all. Im raring to see it and my family wants to know what I see in these books (snce none of them have read any of them except my older sister, who didnt get the point).

Honestly, that's a good way of doing the film. If they did it by book, it would seem unrelated, like it doesn't follow fluently.

Exactly, the books are really chock full of narration, but barely any action.

Well I guess other people like my friends that know I'm in love with them and my family won't know what I see in them. ( I'm planning on filling my locker with Snicket photos all over. I really want to take my relationship to a whole new level.) And I was just thinking about how they would make it all flow into one movie. But it would be cool if they made it at the end of each of the "books" in the movie, they could make it like the movie turns into the book (the picture at the back of them) and then start it back up again as if it was the next book.( The picture at the front of them.Wow, I didn't even undrestand that. )

I would have thought it would have been a better idea to do the books in order. I was expecting the hurricane in The Wide Window to be the climax of the movie.

I'm afraid that the movie is going to really suck. First of all its being made my nickelodian. And I don't really like watching movies based off of books because it ruins the pictures I had of the characters in my head.

I have faith that they'll do the books justice. It won't be perfect (nothing ever is), but you know what, it can work. I mean, who would've though that LOTH could be successfully made into movies? And I know every Harry Potter fan was terrified of what Cuaron would do to the third movie. Sure, they left a lot out, but they stayed true to the spirit of the books. Although . . . you may have a point about the Nikelodeon thing. But Olaf looks really good so far, so don't give up hope!

Ugh, theres nothing wrong with Nickelodean having a part in this for god's sake! Nickelodean put a whole bunch of money into it. Their advertising plots will rake in the people like you wouldnt believe. Stop complaining about Nickelodean. So far, I SEE NO SIGN OF NICKELODEAN RUBBING OFF ON THE FILM WHATSOEVER!!! All I know is that their name is attached, namely helping it be a family film, further attracting people to see it.
Ive been told by an insider that the climax of the film is, in fact, the hurricane. that is what Ive been told.
I dont really like the idea of the end of the movie turning into a book (you know what I mean). That would make it seem more fairy tale than general story, avading what the series is really about. Its a good idea, just not in my opinion, or at least not for this.

Maybe at the end of the film, the shot of the Baudelaires could change into a photo that Lemony is holding whilst he types up this dreadful story. That would be a good way to give us some early VFD clues as well.
